Keith’s personal slogan in kitchen and bath design is simply this:“…Beyond function, approaching art!”
Keith Shirley has been building cabinets since 1976. He started out as apprentice to his uncle, one of the only “Old Style” cabinet craftsmen in the area at the time. Keith has taken the traditional cabinet construction mind set and methods and melded them with modern tools, equipment, and techniques to attain the best of both worlds. Traditional Louisiana materials such as cypress, sinker cypress, walnut and mahogany, as well as the more standard cherry, maple and oak, all have a place in his custom work.
Unique custom mantels and furniture are also part of his shop production. He has also developed a one of a kind sinker cypress sink which has made an appearance in select homes in the area.
When it came time to diverge into the factory cabinet world, Keith selected Masterbrand, Medallion, and Kith cabinets to offer his customers a wide range of selection as well as price competitiveness. Wilshire Woodworks is the only factory cabinet outlet in the entire Natchitoches Parish area.
